APPROACHES IN THE DELIVERY OF INTEGRATED ALCOHOL SERVICES IN COMMUNITY
SETTINGS
SUMMARY
The HSE Alcohol Programme invites applications from suitably qualified
and experienced consultants / organisations to 1) undertake an
evidence review on effective interventions and approaches in the
delivery of integrated alcohol services in community settings and b)
develop recommendations on the delivery and evaluation of integrated
alcohol services in Ireland.
BACKGROUND
New integrated alcohol services are being established by the HSE.
Integrated alcohol services are defined as specialist alcohol services
operating in community settings providing psychosocial and therapeutic
interventions and developing integrated care pathways between acute,
primary care and addiction services. The evidence review will inform
the development, implementation, and evaluation of these new services
in Ireland.
TIMELINE
The HSE Alcohol Programme is keen to commence the work as soon as is
practicable and asks that tenderers specify how soon they would be in
a position to commence the work. The work should be completed within
three months of signing the contract.
